A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) In the cockpit, on the right-center instrument panel (400VU):

Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing-gear control lever.

(3) In the cockpit, on the steering handwheels (CAPT and F/O) and on the brake pedals:

Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the steering handwheels (CAPT and F/O) and the brake pedals.

B. Get Access
(1) Remove the NLG leg door-assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-15-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-22-15-020-053-A

A. Removal of the Link and Fitting Assemblies of the NLG Leg Door
(1) Remove the link assembly (4) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (1).
(b) Remove the nut (2), the washer (3) and the bolt (5).
(c) Remove the link assembly (4) from the NLG leg (6).
(2) Remove the fitting assembly (7) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (13).
(b) Remove the nut (12), the washer (11), the bolt (10), the washers (17) and the bush (9).
(c) Remove and discard the cotter pin (16).
(d) Remove the nut (15), the washer (14) and the bolt (8).
(e) Remove the fitting assembly (7) from the NLG leg (6).
