WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS RELATED TO THE WEATHER RADAR ARE OPENED, SAFETIED AND TAGGED.
1. Reason for the Job
NOTE: The removal/installation procedure of the spray nozzle is done from out of the aircraft.
The spray nozzles are symmetrical but not interchangeable :
  • The CAPT spray nozzle is identified with red paint mark.
  • The F/O spray nozzle is identified with yellow paint mark.
    The procedure is the same for CAPT and F/O spray nozzles.

   (1) Hold the nut (4) and remove the nut (2) and the nozzle (1).
   (2) Remove and discard the O-ring (3).
