- FLUSH IT AWAY WITH CLEAN WATER
- GET MEDICAL AID.
WARNING:
THE RAIN REPELLENT FLUID GAGE IS CONSIDERED AS AN ASSEMBLY. THE COMPONENTS OF THIS ASSEMBLY, ESPECIALLY THE PRESSURE GAGE, MUST NOT BE REPLACED ON AIRCRAFT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DEPRESSURIZE THE RAIN REPELLENT SYSTEM BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE RAIN REPELLENT FLUID-CAN.
RAIN REPELLENT FLUID CAN COME OUT SUDDENLY IF YOU REMOVE THE FLUID CAN WITH THE SYSTEM PRESSURIZED.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE FLUID DOES NOT STAY ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE. IF THE FLUID GETS ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY WITH SOAP AND WATER.
NOTE: If there is leakage of FORALKYL 2211, you can smell a pine odor.

A. Cleaning Instructions
(1) Make sure that the fluid does not stay on the aircraft furnishings.
If the fluid gets on the aircraft furnishings, clean with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) .

- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the RAIN RPLNT pushbutton switches.

A. Preparation
(1) Connect a HOSE - DRAIN to the drain valve (14) of the rain repellent fluid gage assy (6).
(2) Put the hose outlet in a CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL)
Subtask 30-45-43-864-050-A (1) Connect a HOSE - DRAIN to the drain valve (14) of the rain repellent fluid gage assy (6).
(2) Put the hose outlet in a CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL)
B. Depressurization of the System
(2) Disconnect the hose from the drain valve (14).
Subtask 30-45-43-020-050-A CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE HOSE OUTLET IS IN THE CONTAINER.
(1) Push the purge pushbutton (5) to release the pressure from the system. (2) Disconnect the hose from the drain valve (14).
C. Removal of the Rain-Repellent Fluid Can
(2) Loosen and remove the can (16).
(3) Remove and discard the seal (17).
(4) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
Subtask 30-45-43-020-052-A CAUTION:
THE RAIN REPELLENT SYSTEM MUST ALWAYS HAVE A RAIN-REPELLENT FLUID CAN INSTALLED. IF A CAN IS NOT INSTALLED, UNWANTED HIGH PRESSURE CAN OCCUR IN THE CLOSED SYSTEM IN SOME AMBIENT- TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS.
(1) Remove the clamp (15). (2) Loosen and remove the can (16).
(3) Remove and discard the seal (17).
(4) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
D. Removal of the Rain-Repellent Fluid Gage Assy
(1) Disconnect the hose (9).
(2) Remove the union (8) and discard the packing (7).
(3) Remove the screws (2), (3), (10) and (11) and the washers (1), (4), (12) and (13).
(4) Remove the rain-repellent fluid gage assy (6).
(5) Put PLUG - BLANKING on the openings of the fluid gage assy (6).
(1) Disconnect the hose (9).
(2) Remove the union (8) and discard the packing (7).
(3) Remove the screws (2), (3), (10) and (11) and the washers (1), (4), (12) and (13).
(4) Remove the rain-repellent fluid gage assy (6).
(5) Put PLUG - BLANKING on the openings of the fluid gage assy (6).
