A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the ENG/MODE selector switch and the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch.
(2) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

4. Procedure
Subtask 30-21-49-020-092-A

A. Removal of the Seal and V-Band at the Nacelle Inlet Aft Bulk Interface
(1) Loosen the coupling nut and disconnect the indicating tube (1) from the anti-ice duct section (7).
(2) Cut the two coupling bands (6) and discard them.
(3) Remove the insulation boot (4) at the forward end of the anti-ice duct section (7).
(4) Open and remove the V-band clamp (3) at the forward end of the anti-ice duct section (7).
(5) Remove the two bolts (9) that attach the flange on the anti-ice duct section (7) to the support bracket (8).
(6) Move the anti-ice duct section (7) away from the flange on the inlet (5).
(7) Remove the E-seal (2) from the inlet (5).
(8) Install COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION on all the open ports, open tubes, open hoses and connectors.
