B. Get Access
(1) Open the applicable access door:
4. Procedure(1) Open the applicable access door:
- One main gear door for 1384GH (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
NOTE: Access is better from the Right Hand (RH) side.
- 196BB and the RH main gear door for 3384GH (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
Subtask 29-34-00-040-050-A
A. Deactivation of the Reservoir Air Pressure Switches
(1) Disconnect the applicable electrical connector (1) 1384GH-A or 3384GH-A from the pressure switch.
(2) Install a CAP - PROTECTION on the disconnected connector (1) and on the receptacle.
(3) For the pressure switch 1384GH:
(a) Put the disconnected connector and the end of the cable through the hole in FR42 into the main gear compartment.
(b) Use a TIE WRAP(S) and attach the disconnected cable to a part of the structure in the main gear compartment.
(6) Look on the air pressure gages on the applicable reservoir and make sure that the air pressure is not less than 37 psi.
(7) If necessary, pressurize the reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
5. Close-up(1) Disconnect the applicable electrical connector (1) 1384GH-A or 3384GH-A from the pressure switch.
(2) Install a CAP - PROTECTION on the disconnected connector (1) and on the receptacle.
(3) For the pressure switch 1384GH:
- Use a TIE WRAP(S) and attach the disconnected cable to a part of the structure.
NOTE: Attach the cable to the structure so that the disconnected end of the connector points down. This prevents the contamination of the connector with oil or other liquids.
(4) For the pressure switch 3384GH: (a) Put the disconnected connector and the end of the cable through the hole in FR42 into the main gear compartment.
(b) Use a TIE WRAP(S) and attach the disconnected cable to a part of the structure in the main gear compartment.
NOTE: Attach the cable to the structure so that the disconnected end of the connector points down. This prevents the contamination of the connector with oil or other liquids.
(5) Make an entry in the logbook.(6) Look on the air pressure gages on the applicable reservoir and make sure that the air pressure is not less than 37 psi.
(7) If necessary, pressurize the reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform.
(3) Close the applicable access door(s)
Subtask 29-34-00-865-070-A (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform.
