(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work on the fuel system (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) below the applicable access panel 550AB(650AB).

A. Visual Check of the NACA Intake for Signs of Blockage
(1) Examine the NACA vent door 550AB (650AB) for signs of leaks and damage.

NOTE: (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-47-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-12-47-400-001) for corrective action.

(2) Examine the NACA vent intake for contamination and make sure that there is no blockage. If necessary remove the contamination and/or the blockage.

5. Close-up

A. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
