(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position.
(2) Open the access door 312AR.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

(1) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized and put them in the maintenance configuration
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green, the Yellow and the Blue hydraulic systems:

in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
on the ground service panels of the Green, the Yellow and the Blue hydraulic systems.

(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the flight compartment to tell persons not to operate the pitch controls.
(4) Put the 98D27403500000 PITCH TRIM CONTROL LOCKING on the pitch-trim control wheel in the flight compartment.

4. Procedure
Subtask 27-44-51-020-055-A

A. Removal of the Electrical Load Sensing Device (ELSD)
(1) Remove the bonding strap (10):
(a) Remove the nut (13), the washer (12), the bolt (9), the lanyard of the protective cap EN3645-F3B0 (8) and the bonding strap (10) from the ELSD (11).
(2) Remove the ELSD (11):
(a) Remove the nuts (2), the locking washers (3) and the springboxes (4) from the axes of the ELSD (11).
(b) Discard the locking washers (3).
(3) Remove the ELSD (11) and the bushes (14) from the secondary upper attachment (5) and the structure lug (1).

Subtask 27-44-51-020-055-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Electrical Load Sensing Device (ELSD)
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (8):
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the ELSD (11).
(b) Put the CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Remove the bonding strap (10):
(a) Remove the nut (13), the washer (12), the bolt (9) and the bonding strap (10) from the ELSD (11).
(3) Remove the ELSD (11):
(a) Remove the nuts (2), the locking washers (3) and the springboxes (4) from the axes of the ELSD (11).
1 Discard the locking washers (3).
(b) Remove the ELSD (11) and the bushes (14) from the secondary upper attachment (5) and the structure lug (1).
