A. Installation of the CAPT pedals
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Apply Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) on the attachment hardware.
   (4) Install the pedal assembly (29) between the structure (32) through the cockpit.
NOTE: Make sure that the rods (9), (12), (28) and (34) are correctly installed in their bellcranks (10), (13), (41) and (35).
   (5) Install the bushes (30), the bolts (31) and the new AIPC 27-21-01-05-010 NUTS (33) or the AIPC 27-21-81-05-010 NUTS (33) (refer to Detail F).
   (6) Install the bolt (40), washer (27), nut (26) and tighten it. Safety with the new
AIPC 32-42-01-04-010 COTTER PIN (25) or the AIPC 32-42-81-04-010 COTTER PIN (25) (refer to Detail E).
   (7) Install the bolt (39), washer (36), nut (37) and tighten it. Safety with the new
AIPC 32-42-01-04-010 COTTER PIN (38) or the AIPC 32-42-81-04-010 COTTER PIN (38) (refer to Detail E).
   (8) Install the bolt (17), washer (14), nut (15) and tighten it. Safety with the new
AIPC 27-21-01-01-010 COTTER PIN (16) or the AIPC 27-21-81-01-010 COTTER PIN (16) (refer to Detail D).
   (9) Install the bolt (11), washer (8), nut (7) and tighten it. Safety with the new
AIPC 27-21-01-01-010 COTTER PIN (6) or the AIPC 27-21-81-01-010 COTTER PIN (6) (refer to Detail C).
   (10) Install the bolt (1), the washer (3), the bonding strip (4), the nut (5) and tighten it. Safety with the new
AIPC 27-21-01-03-161 COTTER PIN (2) or the AIPC 27-21-81-03-120 COTTER PIN (2) (refer to Detail B).
   (11) Install the pedal position-adjuster assembly (
Ref. AMM TASK 27-21-43-400-002).

B. Test
   (1) Do the operational test of the CAPT pedals (Ref. AMM TASK 27-24-00-710-001).
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
