A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the aft cargo-compartment door 826.
(2) Open the aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the ON position.
(4) Remove the partition panel 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the aft cargo-compartment door 826.
(2) Open the aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to the ON position.
(4) Remove the partition panel 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).

A. Removal of the Pressure Reducer
(2) Remove the lockwire:
(3) Remove the unions (6).
(5) Release the tab washer (2) and remove the nut (1).
(6) Remove and discard the tab washer (2).
(7) Remove the pressure reducer (4).
(8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(9) Put PLUG - BLANKING on the open ports of the pressure reducer (4).
NOTE: The removal procedure is the same for the pressure reducers 5044WM and 5045WM.
(1) Loosen the nuts (7) and disconnect the pipes (8). (2) Remove the lockwire:
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire from the unions (6). (3) Remove the unions (6).
NOTE: Keep the unions for installation.
(4) Remove and discard the O-rings (5). (5) Release the tab washer (2) and remove the nut (1).
(6) Remove and discard the tab washer (2).
(7) Remove the pressure reducer (4).
(8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(9) Put PLUG - BLANKING on the open ports of the pressure reducer (4).
