3. Job Set-up
Subtask 26-22-43-010-051-A

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) in position below the discharge indicator assembly (1).
(2) Open access door 314AR and safety it in the open position.
(Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-23-010-801).

4. Procedure
Subtask 26-22-43-020-051-A

A. Removal of the Discharge Indicator Assembly
(1) Disconnect the union (2) from the discharge indicator assembly (1).
(2) Remove the sealant.
(3) Remove the rivets (3) from the discharge indicator assembly (1).
(4) Remove and discard the discharge indicator assembly (1).

B. Preparation for Installation
(1) Do an inspection of the discharge indicator components.
(2) Remove the unwanted material from the internal surfaces, shoulders and grooves of the housing with a BRUSH - BRISTLED, FIBER, SOFT.
(3) Use the BRUSH - BRISTLED, FIBER, SOFT with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and clean all metallic parts. Be careful when you work on the internal areas and grooves.
(4) Dry all parts fully with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

Subtask 26-22-43-420-051-A

C. Installation of the Discharge Indicator Assembly
(1) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) on the faying surface of the discharge indicator assembly (1).
(2) Put the discharge indicator assembly (1) in position.
(3) Seal the faying surface of the discharge indicator assembly (1) to the aircraft surface with Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Smoother - (Material No.06AAE1) .
(4) Install the AIPC 26-22-04-03-080 RIVETS (3).
(5) Apply sealant Coating_- Flexible Structure (Material No.04QAB2) two times on the bead of the discharge indicator assembly (1). Make sure that the thickness is 0.02 MM (0.0008 IN.).
(6) Install the union (2) on the discharge indicator assembly (1).
(7) Tighten the union (2).

5. Close-up
Subtask 26-22-43-410-051-A

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close access door 314AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-23-410-801).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
