- Make sure that the ENG/MODE/CRANK/NORM/IGN/START selector switch is in the NORM position.
- Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(3) On the panel 50VU:
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off
- Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position.
B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

A. Installation of the Fire Extinguisher Tube Assembly
(1) Remove the protective covers from the hose (5), the pylon tube (10) and the fire extinguisher tube (15).
(2) Put the clamps (35) on the tube (15). Attach the clamps to the brackets on the nose cowl with the screws (20), washers (30) and nuts (25). (4 locations, See Detail A).
(3) Put the clamps (35) on the tube (15). Attach the clamps to the brackets on the nose cowl with the screws (20). (4 locations, See Detail B).
(4) Put the clamps (35) on the tube (15). Attach the clamps to the brackets on the nose cowl with the screws (20), washers (30) and nuts (25). (2 locations, See Detail C).
(5) Put the clamps (35) on the tube (15). Attach the clamp to the stiffener at the bottom of the nose cowl with the screw (20), washer (30) and nut (25). (See Detail D).
(6) TORQUE the screws (20) and nuts (25) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(7) At the top of the engine connect the hose (5) to the pylon tube (10).
(8) TORQUE the hose (5) fitting to between 945 and 855 lbf.in (10.68 and 9.66 m.daN )
.
5. Close-up(1) Remove the protective covers from the hose (5), the pylon tube (10) and the fire extinguisher tube (15).
(2) Put the clamps (35) on the tube (15). Attach the clamps to the brackets on the nose cowl with the screws (20), washers (30) and nuts (25). (4 locations, See Detail A).
(3) Put the clamps (35) on the tube (15). Attach the clamps to the brackets on the nose cowl with the screws (20). (4 locations, See Detail B).
(4) Put the clamps (35) on the tube (15). Attach the clamps to the brackets on the nose cowl with the screws (20), washers (30) and nuts (25). (2 locations, See Detail C).
(5) Put the clamps (35) on the tube (15). Attach the clamp to the stiffener at the bottom of the nose cowl with the screw (20), washer (30) and nut (25). (See Detail D).
(6) TORQUE the screws (20) and nuts (25) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (7) At the top of the engine connect the hose (5) to the pylon tube (10).
(8) TORQUE the hose (5) fitting to between 945 and 855 lbf.in (10.68 and 9.66 m.daN )

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
