- Make sure that the ENG/MODE/CRANK/NORM/IGN/START selector switch is in the NORM position.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(3) On the panel 50VU:
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S).
B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

A. Removal of the Fire Extinguisher Tube Assembly
(1) Disconnect the hose (5) from the pylon tube (10) at the top of the engine.
(2) Remove the screws (20), nuts (25), washers (30) and clamps (35) that attach the tube (15) to the brackets on the nose cowl. (4 locations, See Detail A).
(3) Remove the screws (20) and clamps (35) that attach the tube (15) to the brackets on the nose cowl. (2 locations, See Detail B).
(4) Remove the screws (20), nuts (25), washers (30) and clamps (35) that attach the tube (15) to the engine brackets. (2 locations, See Detail C).
(5) Remove the screw (20), nut (25), washer (30) and clamp (35) that attach the tube (15) to the stiffener at the bottom of the nose cowl. (See Detail D).
(6) Remove the fire extinguisher tube (15) from the engine.
(7) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the hose (5), the pylon tube (10) and the fire extinguisher tube (15).
(1) Disconnect the hose (5) from the pylon tube (10) at the top of the engine.
(2) Remove the screws (20), nuts (25), washers (30) and clamps (35) that attach the tube (15) to the brackets on the nose cowl. (4 locations, See Detail A).
(3) Remove the screws (20) and clamps (35) that attach the tube (15) to the brackets on the nose cowl. (2 locations, See Detail B).
(4) Remove the screws (20), nuts (25), washers (30) and clamps (35) that attach the tube (15) to the engine brackets. (2 locations, See Detail C).
(5) Remove the screw (20), nut (25), washer (30) and clamp (35) that attach the tube (15) to the stiffener at the bottom of the nose cowl. (See Detail D).
(6) Remove the fire extinguisher tube (15) from the engine.
(7) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the hose (5), the pylon tube (10) and the fire extinguisher tube (15).
