A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the forward cargo compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the forward cargo compartment door.

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the forward cargo compartment door.

(1) Make sure that the forward cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the forward cargo-compartment door is safetied with the actuator safety lock (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-480-001).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the forward cargo-compartment door.
(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on the control panel of the forward Cargo-Loading-System (CLS) to tell persons not to use it.
Subtask 25-54-41-865-054-A (1) Make sure that the forward cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the forward cargo-compartment door is safetied with the actuator safety lock (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-480-001).

A. Preparation for Installation:
(1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Use a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC to remove the old sealant from the component interface and the adjacent area.
(3) Use a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the component interface and the adjacent area.
(4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Apply the Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the threads of the screws which attach the tie-down and net attachment fittings and to the bottom surface of the tie down point.
(6) To prevent damage to the cargo nets when you remove the attachment fittings from the ceiling area:
(a) Safety one or two fittings of each net with the tie wraps.
Subtask 25-54-41-420-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(1) Install the tie-down points (2):
(b) Install the screws (1) in the tie-down point (2).
(2) Install the seat-track section (5):
(a) Put the seat-track section (5) in position at the structure (3).
(b) Install the screws (4) in the seat-track section (5).
(3) Install the tie-down points (9):
(b) Put the tie-down point (9) in position at the plug housing (10).
(c) Install the screws (8) in the tie-down point (9).
(4) Install the tie-down fittings (12):
(b) Install the screws (11) in the tie-down fitting (12).
(5) Install the tie-down fitting (14):
(a) Put the tie-down fitting (14) in position at the structure (3).

B. Installation of the Tie-Down and Net Attachment Fittings in the Floor Area
(1) Install the tie-down points (4):
(b) For the tie-down points (4) installed between FR35 and FR35.4:
1 Install the screws (3) and the nuts (6).
(c) For the tie-down points (4) installed at all other frame positions:
1 Install the screws (3) in the tie-down point (4).
(2) Install the seat-track section (8):
(a) Put the seat-track section (8) in its installation position at the structure (5).
(b) Install the screws (7) in the seat-track section (8).
(3) Install the tie-down points (10):

(1) For the tie-down and net attachment fittings installed in a closed cutout:
(a) Make sure that the clearance between the plug housing (2) and the cutout in the floor panel (1) is clean.
(b) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) (3) and fill the clearance between the plug housing (2) and the cutout in the floor panel (1).
(2) For the tie-down and net attachment fittings installed in an open cutout:
(a) Make sure that the clearances between the tie-down fitting (4) and the cutouts in the floor panels (1) are clean.
(b) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) (3) and fill the clearances between the tie-down fitting (4) and the cutouts in the floor panels (1).
(3) Use a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to remove the unwanted sealant from the component interface and the adjacent area.

D. Application of Sealants
(1) For the tie-down and net attachment fittings installed in a closed cutout:
(a) Make sure that the gaps between the tie-down point (4) and the plug housing (2) are clean.
(b) Make sure that the gap between the plug housing (2) and the cutout in the floor panel (1) is clean.
(c) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) (5) and fill the gaps between the tie-down point (4) and the plug housing (2).
(d) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) (3) and fill the gap between the plug housing (2) and the cutout in the floor panel (1).
(2) For the tie-down and net attachment fittings installed in an open cutout:
(a) Make sure that the gaps between the tie-down fitting (6) and the cutouts in the floor panels (1) are clean.
(b) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) (3) and fill the gaps between the tie-down fitting (6) and the cutouts in the floor panels (1).
(3) Use a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to remove the unwanted sealant from the component interface and the adjacent area.
5. Close-up(1) For the tie-down and net attachment fittings installed in a closed cutout:
(a) Make sure that the gaps between the tie-down point (4) and the plug housing (2) are clean.
(b) Make sure that the gap between the plug housing (2) and the cutout in the floor panel (1) is clean.
(c) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) (5) and fill the gaps between the tie-down point (4) and the plug housing (2).
(d) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) (3) and fill the gap between the plug housing (2) and the cutout in the floor panel (1).
(2) For the tie-down and net attachment fittings installed in an open cutout:
(a) Make sure that the gaps between the tie-down fitting (6) and the cutouts in the floor panels (1) are clean.
(b) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) (3) and fill the gaps between the tie-down fitting (6) and the cutouts in the floor panels (1).
(3) Use a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to remove the unwanted sealant from the component interface and the adjacent area.

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the forward cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
