A. Get Access
(1) Open the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s).
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the control panel of the cargo loading system to tell persons not to use it.

C. Get Access
(1) Remove the floor panels to get access to the connector of the proximity switches (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-14-000-001) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 53-42-14-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-52-34-020-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the XZ-Single Latch and the Proximity Switch

XZ-Single Latch 32 and Proximity Switch ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the XZ-single latch (2):
(a) Loosen the screws (1).
(b) Use the screws (1) to move the pins (9) into the slots, then disengage the XZ-single latch (2) from the holes in the roller track (3).
(c) Lift and remove the XZ-single latch (2) from the roller track (3).
(2) Remove the proximity switch (6):
(a) Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (7) from the proximity switch (6).
(b) Carefully lift the proximity switch (6) with the seal (5) to get access to the electrical connector (4).
(c) Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the proximity switch (6).
(d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(e) Remove the proximity switch (6) and the seal (5).
