A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Door Locks
(1) Removal of the Single Blade Door lock:

Door Lock - Single Blade Door

(a) Open the lavatory door.
(b) Remove the screws (3) and the section (5).
(c) Remove the screws (4) and the knob (2).
(d) Lift the flap (9) and remove the knurled pin (7) and the screws (6).
(e) Remove the door lock (1) and the spring loaded cover (8) from the lavatory door.
(f) Close the lavatory door.
(2) Removal of the Bi-folding Door lock:

Door Lock - Bi-folding Door (Standard Option)

(a) Open the lavatory door.
(b) Remove the screws (6) and the section (8).
(c) Remove the screws (7) and the knob (2).
(d) For the Person with Reduced Mobility (PRM) lavatory, loosen the set-screw (5) and remove the knob (3) from the bolt (4).
(e) Remove the bolt (4)
(f) Lift the flap (11) and remove the knurled pin (10) and the screws (9).
(g) Remove the door lock (1) and the spring loaded cover (12) from the lavatory door.
(h) Close the lavatory door.
