(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Get Access
(1) If installed, remove the center class divider (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-43-000-004).

A. Removal of the Rail System

MCD-Center Rail ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Open the door (3) of the overhead stowage compartment.
(2) Hold the rail (1) in position and remove the screws (5) and the washers (4).
(3) Carefully remove the rail (1) and the shim plates (2).

B. Remove the Single Beam Movable Class Divider Rail System.

Single Beam MCD Rail System (ADDER) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Open the cover(s) (1).
(2) Remove the screws (2).
(3) Remove the bracket(s) (3) with the electrical connector(s) (4) and the wires (5) out of the rail(s) (6) and attach them with masking tape Adhesive Film Tape-Masking - - (Material No.05RDA1) to the structure.
(4) Open the overhead stowage compartment door(s) (7).
(5) Record the position of the rail(s) (6) for the installation procedure.
(6) Remove the screws (8), the washers (9) and the rail(s) (6).
