B. Removal of the Actuator on the Foot Rest Assembly
(1) Put the foot rest assembly (10) on a bench, with the foot rest on the top and in the stowed position.
(2) Remove the cotter pin (4) (on the actuator rod side) and discard it.
(3) Remove the nut (3) and the washer (2).
(4) Lightly compress the actuator (5) and disengage the actuator rod from the hinge pin (1).
(5) Remove the cotter pin (9) (on actuator body side) and discard it.
(6) Remove the nut (8) and the washer (7).
(7) Disengage the hinge pin (6).
(8) Remove the actuator.
