NOTE: This is an EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) procedure. For the EWIS, refer to ESPM 20-33-11.

Subtask 24-92-00-941-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the ENG/MODE selector switch and the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch.
(2) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 24-92-00-010-183-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.

B. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) For the left pylon, in zone 470.
(b) For the right pylon, in zone 480.
(2) Remove the pylon-to-wing access panels and doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-804):
(a) For the left pylon 471AL 471BL 471CL 472AR 472BR.
(b) For the right pylon 481AL 481BL 482AR 482BR 482CR.
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) For the left pylon, in zone 470.
(b) For the right pylon, in zone 480.
(2) Remove the pylon-to-wing access panels and doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-804):
(a) For the left pylon 471AL 471BL 471CL 472AR 472BR.
(b) For the right pylon 481AL 481BL 482AR 482BR 482CR.
Subtask 24-92-00-210-122-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. General Visual Inspection of all the Wiring Installed in the Pylon-to-wing Leading Edge
(1) Do a visual inspection of the wiring to make sure that there is no signs of ageing, alteration, overheating, scaling and deformation ESPM 2052110:
(a) On the AC/DC feeder routes 1G and 2G.
(b) On the engine-control routes 1S and 2S.
(c) On the routes 1M and 2M.
5. Close-up(1) Do a visual inspection of the wiring to make sure that there is no signs of ageing, alteration, overheating, scaling and deformation ESPM 2052110:
(a) On the AC/DC feeder routes 1G and 2G.
(b) On the engine-control routes 1S and 2S.
(c) On the routes 1M and 2M.
NOTE: Use a FLASHLIGHT or a MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE if necessary.
(2) Make sure that there is no dust, fuel leak or hydraulic contamination. Subtask 24-92-00-410-191-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the pylon-to-wing access panels and doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-804):
(a) For the left pylon 471AL 471BL 471CL 472AR 472BR.
(b) For the right pylon 481AL 481BL 482AR 482BR 482CR.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the pylon-to-wing access panels and doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-804):
(a) For the left pylon 471AL 471BL 471CL 472AR 472BR.
(b) For the right pylon 481AL 481BL 482AR 482BR 482CR.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
