MAKE SURE THAT NO AC OR DC POWER IS CONNECTED TO THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS.

Subtask 24-61-58-010-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the Third Occupant seat is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-000-001).
(2) In the cockpit, make sure that the front panel on the bottom right side of the rear panel 120VU is removed.
(3) Make sure that an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 121AL.
(4) Make sure that the access door 121AL is open.
Subtask 24-61-58-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Third Occupant seat is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-000-001).
(2) In the cockpit, make sure that the front panel on the bottom right side of the rear panel 120VU is removed.
(3) Make sure that an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 121AL.
(4) Make sure that the access door 121AL is open.
B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft external-power receptacle.
(2) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft external-power receptacle.
(3) In the cockpit, on the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft external-power receptacle.
(2) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft external-power receptacle.
(3) In the cockpit, on the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
- BAT 1, BAT 2
- APU GEN
- GEN 1, GEN 2
- EXT PWR.
- 21VU (EMER ELEC PWR section)
- 25VU (APU section)
- 35VU (ELEC).

A. Installation of the DC Bus 2 Contactor Module (14PN)
(1) Put the contactor module (26) in position on its support.
(2) Install the new AIPC 24-61-08-03-020 LOCKING WASHERS (14) or AIPC 24-61-88-03-020 LOCKING WASHERS (14) and the screws (15).
(3) Tighten the screws (15).
(4) Install the protective plugs (16) on the screws (15).
Subtask 24-61-58-420-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the contactor module (26) in position on its support.
(2) Install the new AIPC 24-61-08-03-020 LOCKING WASHERS (14) or AIPC 24-61-88-03-020 LOCKING WASHERS (14) and the screws (15).
(3) Tighten the screws (15).
(4) Install the protective plugs (16) on the screws (15).
B. Installation of the Electrical Components
(a) Install the busbar (8) between the contactor modules 14PN and 13PN.
(b) Install the spacer (7).
(c) Install the fuse (3).
(d) Install the washers (2) and (9) and the screws (1) and (10).
(e) Tighten the screws (1) and (10).
(f) Put the electrical cable (6) in position on the contactor module (13PN).
(g) Install the new locking washer (5) and the nut (4).
(h) Tighten the nut (4).
(2) Connection of the electrical cables.
(a) Put the electrical cables (19), (18) and (17) in position on the contactor module (26).
(b) Install the washer (20) and the screw (21).
(c) TORQUE the screw (21) to between 0.3 and 0.27 m.daN (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )

(d) Put the electrical cables (11) in position on the contactor module (26).
(e) Install the washers (12) and the screws (13).
(f) TORQUE the screws (13) to between 0.3 and 0.27 m.daN (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )

(g) Put the electrical cables (22) and (23) in position on the contactor module (26).
(h) Install the washer (24) and the screw (25).
(i) Tighten the screw (25).
(j) Put the electrical cables (29) in position on the contactor module (26).
(k) Install the washers (28) and the screws (27).
(l) TORQUE the screws (27) to between 0.3 and 0.27 m.daN (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )

Subtask 24-61-58-420-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.
INCORRECT CONNECTION OF THE WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Installation of the busbar (8). (a) Install the busbar (8) between the contactor modules 14PN and 13PN.
(b) Install the spacer (7).
(c) Install the fuse (3).
(d) Install the washers (2) and (9) and the screws (1) and (10).
(e) Tighten the screws (1) and (10).
(f) Put the electrical cable (6) in position on the contactor module (13PN).
(g) Install the new locking washer (5) and the nut (4).
(h) Tighten the nut (4).
(2) Connection of the electrical cables.
(a) Put the electrical cables (19), (18) and (17) in position on the contactor module (26).
(b) Install the washer (20) and the screw (21).
(c) TORQUE the screw (21) to between 0.3 and 0.27 m.daN (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )
. (d) Put the electrical cables (11) in position on the contactor module (26).
(e) Install the washers (12) and the screws (13).
(f) TORQUE the screws (13) to between 0.3 and 0.27 m.daN (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )
. (g) Put the electrical cables (22) and (23) in position on the contactor module (26).
(h) Install the washer (24) and the screw (25).
(i) Tighten the screw (25).
(j) Put the electrical cables (29) in position on the contactor module (26).
(k) Install the washers (28) and the screws (27).
(l) TORQUE the screws (27) to between 0.3 and 0.27 m.daN (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )
. C. Installation of the Contactors on the Contactor Module 14PN
(1) Install the contactor 5PU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 24-32-55-400-001).
(2) Install the contactor 1PC2 (Ref. AMM TASK 24-35-55-400-001).
(3) Install the contactor 8PN (Ref. AMM TASK 24-61-55-400-001).
(4) Install the contactor 10PN (Ref. AMM TASK 24-61-55-400-002).
(5) Install the contactor 3PX (Ref. AMM TASK 24-43-55-400-001).
5. Close-up(1) Install the contactor 5PU2 (Ref. AMM TASK 24-32-55-400-001).
(2) Install the contactor 1PC2 (Ref. AMM TASK 24-35-55-400-001).
(3) Install the contactor 8PN (Ref. AMM TASK 24-61-55-400-001).
(4) Install the contactor 10PN (Ref. AMM TASK 24-61-55-400-002).
(5) Install the contactor 3PX (Ref. AMM TASK 24-43-55-400-001).
Subtask 24-61-58-410-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the front panel on the bottom right side of the rear panel 120VU.
(3) Install the Third Occupant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-400-001).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Close the access door 121AL.
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the front panel on the bottom right side of the rear panel 120VU.
(3) Install the Third Occupant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-400-001).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Close the access door 121AL.
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
