D. Visual Inspection for Oil Leaks
(1) Do dry motoring (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-045) and make sure that there are no oil leaks at the covers of the IDG oil filter.
5. Close-up(1) Do dry motoring (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-045) and make sure that there are no oil leaks at the covers of the IDG oil filter.
NOTE: We recommend that you do the visual inspection again to make sure that there are no oil leaks at the cover of the IDG oil filter. Do this inspection at the next time you operate the engine at a minimum idle (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-043).
When you operate the engine at minimum idle, the oil pressure in the lubrication system and the cooling system of the IDG is higher and the oil circulation time is longer. Subtask 24-21-51-410-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
