(1) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is on the panel 115VU to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is on the panel 50VU to tell persons not to power supply the FADEC system.

4. Procedure
Subtask 24-21-49-420-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the IDG Hoses (Tubings)

CAUTION: USE TWO WRENCHES TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS:

ONE WRENCH TO HOLD THE UNION, AND
ONE TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE COUPLING NUT.

THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE PARTS.

(1) Remove the protective covers from the hoses (1) and (2) and from the unions (4),(3),(6) and (5).
(2) Connect hoses (1) and (2) to IDG and IDG cooler. TORQUE hose (1) couplings to between 850 and 725 lbf.in (9.61 and 8.19 m.daN )

and hose (2) couplings to between 58.3 and 52.5 lbf.ft (7.90 and 7.12 m.daN )

B. Filling of the IDG with Oil
(1) Drain and replenish the IDG with oil (Ref. AMM TASK 12-13-24-612-041).

C. Visual Inspection for Oil Leaks
(1) Do a visual inspection for oil leaks at the IDG and the oil tubes.
Leaks are not permitted.

D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Oil Leaks Test
(1) Start the corresponding engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-001).
(2) Make sure that there are no leaks in the IDG oil system.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):
