   (2) Open the FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
   (3) Get a SPIRIT LEVEL to do the leveling procedure.
   (4) Go into the passenger compartment.
NOTE: To do this procedure two persons are necessary
  • one in the passenger compartment to move the spirit level

Subtask 08-21-00-581-055-A
B. Aircraft Lifting
CAUTION: YOU MUST NOT LIFT THE AIRCRAFT WITH THE SAFETY STAY.
   (1) Lift the aircraft (Ref. AMM TASK 07-11-00-581-001).
NOTE: Do not put the safety stay in position before you make the aircraft level.
4. Procedure
Subtask 08-21-00-581-056-A
A. Leveling of the Aircraft
   (1) Transverse alignment
     (a) Put the spirit level on two adjacent seat tracks, in the "Y" direction.
NOTE: To install the spirit level, you can find an area easily available between the FWD frame of the FWD passenger crew/door and the frame FR40.
If the distance between the two adjacent seat tracks is more than the spirit level length, install the spirit level on a straight RULER - STEEL of sufficient length.
  • Make sure that the the spirit level (or the ruler) is set on the seat tracks.
NOTE: If the carpet top level, or the floor top level is higher than the seat track top level, install 2 shims that have the same thickness, between the seat tracks, and the spirit level (or the ruler).
There must be a gap between the floor and the spirit level (or the ruler).
     (b) Operate the hydraulic jack below the wing to get the transverse alignment.
   (2) Longitudinal alignment
     (a) Put the spirit level on a seat track, in the "X" direction.
     (b) Operate the hydraulic jack below the fuselage to get the longitudinal alignment.
   (3) When you have done the longitudinal alignment, do a check of the transverse alignment.
   (4) Put the safety stay in position between FR73 and FR74.
5. Close-up
Subtask 08-21-00-586-053-A

   (1) Lower the aircraft on its wheels (Ref. AMM TASK 07-11-00-586-002).
Subtask 08-21-00-410-052-A
B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
