Subtask 07-12-00-820-051-A
A. Installation of the Hydraulic Jack
   (1) Put the JACK - WHEEL CHANGE, MAIN/NOSE LANDING GEAR aft in position so that the jack head touches the jacking dome of the shock absorber.
   (2) Make sure that the wheel jack is stable and in the vertical position.
   (3) Make sure that the aircraft is stable before you lift the aircraft (Ref. AMM TASK 05-57-00-200-001).
   (4) If you do ground operations (cargo loading/unloading, fueling/defueling, passenger boarding/disembarking) and jacking for a wheel change at the same time:
  • Make sure that the door sill and ground support equipment (cargo loader, passenger bridge and/or catering truck) stay aligned.
  • Decrease the loading speed of the Unit Load Device (ULD) and make sure that the ULD smoothly touches the lateral stop of the Cargo Loading System (CLS).
  • Make sure that the weight change is not more than 23500 kg (51809 lb).
  • Make sure that the wind speed is less than 35 kts (65 km/h).
  • Do not lift the left and the right MLG legs in the same time.
  • Do not lift the NLG leg and a MLG leg in the same time.
Subtask 07-12-00-210-055-A
