A. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position.
WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.
   (2) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
   (3) Remove access panels 536AB, 536BB, 636AB and 636BB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-000-005).

   (1) Fully extend the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008).

   (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.

A. Inspection
F Flap Tab Hinge and Fairing No. 1B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Do a general visual inspection of flap tab hinge and fairing no. 1B.
   (2) Make sure that there are no signs of corrosion, cracks or damage on all the parts of the components and the structure that you can see.
   (3) Make sure that all the installations (wiring) are correctly attached.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Fully retract the flaps (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install access panels 536AB, 536BB, 636AB and 636BB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-55-11-400-005).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).

C. Put the Aircraft back to its Initial Configuration

   (1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (2) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
