** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL The door warning system tells the crew that:
- The doors are open or closed.
- A person tries to open a door or an emergency exit door when the emergency escape slide is armed.
- A person tries to open a door when there is too much pressure in the cabin, the engines are de-energized and the emergency escape slide is disarmed.

Door Warning Schematic ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
All the data about the passenger/crew doors, the emergency exit doors and the avionics and cargo compartment doors and the escape slide arming are sent to the ECAM system with the proximity switches. When the cabin pressure level is higher than the external atmospheric pressure level (or more than 2.5 mbar (0.04 psi)), a discrete signal is sent to the ECAM system.
SDAC1 and SDAC2 collect the data about the passenger/crew doors, the emergency exit doors and the avionics compartment doors.
LGCIU1 collects the data about the cargo compartment doors and sends them to FWC1 and FWC2 with the ARINC 429 busbar.
The SLIDE ARMED indicator light comes on when:

The SLIDE ARMED indicator light comes on when:
- A person tries to open a passenger/crew door or an emergency exit door.
- The escape slide is in the armed position.
- The oil pressure of the two engines decreases
- The escape slide is in the disarmed position and
- The cabin pressure level is higher than the external atmospheric pressure (or more than 2.5 mbar (0.04 psi)).

All the signals from the doors are sent to the lower ECAM Display Unit (DU) and shown in amber.
If the signals are sent for a longer period, an aural warning starts and the MASTER CAUT lights come on.
