1. General
A. Emergency Escape-Slide Warning
The indicator light which shows that the escape slide is armed warns the person who tries to open a door or an emergency exit of the status of the door or exit escape slide.
The indicator light, which shows that the escape slide is armed, gives a warning to the person who tries to open a door, an emergency exit door or an overwing emergency exit-door. If the person continues to open the door, there is a risk of unintended deployment of the escape slide. This can cause injuries to persons on the ground or damage to equipment on the outer side of the aircraft.

B. Overpressure Warning
In some conditions, there is a risk of overpressure in the cabin. The CABIN PRESSURE warning-light panel tells the person in or out of the aircraft that it is dangerous to open the passenger/crew door or emergency exit door. The remaining pressure in the cabin can cause sudden opening of the door, which can cause injuries to persons or damage to the aircraft. The cabin pressure warning-function is available only when the engines are stopped and the escape slide is disarmed.

Schematic of the Passenger/Crew Doors and Emergency Exits ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
Schematic of the Passenger/Crew Doors and Emergency Exits ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
When you open a passenger/crew door, or a flap which gives access to the control handle of an emergency exit a logic 1 is sent.
The slide armed data is related to the emission of a logic 0 on the passenger/crew doors and of a logic 1 on the emergency exits.
When a person tries to open a passenger/crew door, or the control handle flap of an emergency exit with the escape slide in the armed configuration, the signals are sent to the indicator light through a logic AND gate.
In the case of the passenger/crew doors, a logic inverter changes the signal related to the arming of the escape slide into a logic 1.
The 2 inputs of the indicator light are in logic state 1 and this causes the indicator light to come on.
