Not applicable, the fault is evident.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 80-00-00-810-111-A
A. If the fault is identified by the ECAM warning ENG 1 START FAULT
- NO N1 ROTATION:
(1) Turn the N1 fan manually in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.
(a) If the fan turns freely:
· change over the speed probe harness leads Ref. AMM 77-11-00-860-010 .
(b) If the fault continues (for channel A):
· do a check and repair the wiring from the EEC (4000KS) to N1 terminal block connector
(4000VS): pins J2/L, d to pins 1, 2 Ref. ASM 73-25-13.
(c) If the fault continues (for channel B):
· do a check and repair the wiring from the EEC (4000KS) to N1 terminal block connector
(4000VS): pins J8/L, d to pins 5, 6 Ref. ASM 73-25-13.
(d) If the fault continues:
· replace the EEC ( 4000KS ) Ref. AMM 73-22-34-000-010 and Ref. AMM 73-22-34-400-010 .
(2) If the fan does not turn freely:
(a) do an inspection of the LP compressor Ref. AMM 72-00-00-200-017 and the LP turbine Ref.
AMM 72-00-00-200-012 .
