3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 79-33-00-860-052-A
A. Job Set-up
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
Ref. AMM 24-41-00-861-002 .
(2) On the panel 50VU, release the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1 pushbutton switch.
Subtask 79-33-00-710-090-A
B. Test
(1) On the panel 50VU, push the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1 pushbutton switch and release it again.
NOTE: This action resets the FADEC memory.
(2) Start the engine 1 by the normal engine automatic start procedure Ref. AMM 71-00-00-710-043 or
the normal engine manual start procedure Ref. AMM 71-00-00-710-047 .
(3) Do a check to see if the OIL LO PRESS warning is shown on the upper display unit.
(4) On the lower display unit, do a check on the ENGINE page to see if the oil pressure of the engine 1 is
more than 60 psi.
(5) Do a shutdown of the engine 1 by the discontinued start, restart and shutdown procedure Ref.
AMM 71-00-00-710-018 .
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 79-33-00-810-074-A
A. If the test confirms the fault:
· examine the harness Ref. AMM 71-50-00-210-010 from the EIU1 (1KS1) to the low oil pressure switch
(4000EN) Ref. ASM 79-36-01.
(1) If the fault continues:
· disconnect the connector from the low oil pressure switch (4000EN)
· examine the connector and receptacle Ref. AMM 71-50-00-210-010
· connect the connectors to the low oil pressure switch (4000EN) Ref. AMM 70-23-15-912-010 .
(2) If the fault continues:
· replace the SW-LOW OIL PRESS ( 4000EN ) Ref. AMM 79-34-15-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 79-34-15-400-010 .
(3) If the fault continues:
· do a check and repair the wiring from the EIU1 (1KS1) to the low oil pressure switch (4000EN)
from pin AA/7A to pin A/2 Ref. ASM 79-36-01.
(4) If the fault continues:
· replace the EIU-1 ( 1KS1 ) Ref. AMM 73-25-34-000-041 and Ref. AMM 73-25-34-400-041 .
