A. If the fault symptom is identified by the ECAM warning ENG2 OIL LO PR (RED):
· do a check of the engine oil level.
(1) If high oil consumption is shown:
(a) Examine the engine for signs of oil leaks at the inlet, the cold stream duct and the exhaust. If you
find signs of oil leaks:
· replace the ENGINE-2 ( 1000EM2 ) Ref. AMM 71-00-20-000-040 and Ref.
AMM 71-00-20-400-040 .
(b) Examine the breather outlet for signs of too much oil. If you find signs of too much oil:
· replace the seal assembly Ref. AMM 72-60-31-000-010 and Ref. AMM 72-60-31-400-010 .
(c) If you find no fault:
· replace the FCOC ( 6003EM ) Ref. AMM 79-21-43-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 79-21-43-400-010 .
(2) If the oil consumption is normal:
(a) Examine the magnetic chip detectors Ref. AMM 79-00-00-200-011 and the scavenge and
pressure filters Ref. AMM 79-00-00-200-012 .
1 If you find metal contamination:
· Refer to Ref. AMM 79-00-00-200-011 for inspection criteria.
(b) Do an oil pressure pump adjustment of the trim valve Ref. AMM 79-21-41-820-010 .
1 If the oil pressure warning stays on:
· replace the OIL PRESSURE PUMP and the FILTER ELEMENT-PRESSURE
OIL ( 6005EM ) Ref. AMM 79-21-41-000-010 and Ref. AMM 79-21-41-400-010 .

B. Test
(1) Start the engine 2 by the normal engine automatic start procedure Ref. AMM 71-00-00-710-043 or
the normal engine manual start procedure Ref. AMM 71-00-00-710-047 .
(2) Make sure that the oil low pressure warning is not shown and that the oil pressure is more than 60
psi.
(3) Do a shutdown of the engine 2 by the discontinued start, restart and shutdown procedure Ref.
