3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 79-32-00-710-078-A
A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the EIU1 with the CFDS Ref. AMM 73-25-34-710-042 .
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 79-32-00-810-066-A
A. If the test gives the maintenance message OIL TEMP SENSOR 1 4004EN:
· examine the harness Ref. AMM 71-50-00-210-010 from the scavenge oil temperature thermocouple
(4004EN) to the EIU1 (1KS1) Ref. ASM 79-36-01.
(1) If the fault continues:
· disconnect the connector from the scavenge oil temperature thermocouple (4004EN)
· examine the connector and receptacle Ref. AMM 71-50-00-210-010
· connect the connector to the scavenge oil temperature thermocouple (4004EN) Ref.
AMM 70-23-15-912-010 .
(2) If the fault continues:
· replace the THERMOCOUPLE SCAVENGE-OIL TEMPERATURE ( 4004EN ) Ref.
AMM 79-32-16-000-010 and Ref. AMM 79-32-16-400-010 .
(3) If the fault continues:
· replace the EIU-1 ( 1KS1 ) Ref. AMM 73-25-34-000-041 and Ref. AMM 73-25-34-400-041 .
(4) If the fault continues:
· do a check and repair the wiring from the EIU1 (1KS1) to the scavenge oil temperature
thermocouple (4004EN) from pin AA/10F to pin A/1 Ref. ASM 79-36-01.
(5) If the fault continues:
· do a check and repair the wiring from the scavenge oil temperature thermocouple (4004EN) pin A/3
to the ground point connection GP2-6 Ref. AWM 71-51-02.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.

(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
