A. Job Set-up
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits

(2) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)

B. Test
(1) Fill the oil tank of the engine 1 Ref. AMM 12-13-79-610-011 .
(2) On the ECAM control panel:
· push the ENG key to get the ENGINE page on the lower ECAM display unit.
(3) On the ENGINE page, do a check of the oil quantity indication for the engine 1.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 79-31-00-810-064-A
A. If the indication does not show 25 quarts:
· replace the XMTR-OIL QTY ( 4002EN ) Ref. AMM 79-31-15-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 79-31-15-400-010 .
Subtask 79-31-00-810-065-A
B. If the servicing shows high oil consumption:
(1) Examine the engine for signs of oil leaks at the inlet, the cold stream duct and the exhaust.
(a) If you find signs of oil leaks:
· replace the ENGINE-1 ( 1000EM1 ) Ref. AMM 71-00-20-000-040 and Ref.
AMM 71-00-20-400-040 .
(2) Examine the breather outlet for signs of too much oil.
(a) If you find signs of too much oil:
· replace the seal assembly Ref. AMM 72-60-31-000-010 and Ref. AMM 72-60-31-400-010 .
(3) If there are no signs of oil leaks:
· replace the scavenge oil pump Ref. AMM 79-22-41-000-010 and Ref. AMM 79-22-41-400-010 .
(4) If the fault continues:
· replace the FCOC ( 6003EM ) Ref. AMM 79-21-43-000-010 and Ref. AMM 79-21-43-400-010 .
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
