NOTE: This TASK is only applicable for IAE V2500-A5 engines which have incorporated EEC software
standard SCN21/AA or higher.
NOTE: The ECAM warnings ENG1 REV INHIBITED or ENG1 REVERSER FAULT are shown for flight
crew awareness, if the thrust reverser was deactivated through the MCDU.
4. Fault Isolation

A. Do the procedure that follows:
(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser system is deactivated following the procedure Ref.
AMM 78-30-00-040-013 and no maintenance messages related to the thrust reverser system are
present.
(2) If no other messages related to the thrust reverser system are present, it is an operational warning.
No more action is necessary.
(3) If the thrust reverser system was re-activated through the procedure Ref. AMM 78-30-00-440-013
and the ECAM warnings ENG1 REV INHIBITED or ENG1 REVERSER FAULT is shown, change the
inhibition status of the thrust reverser system Ref. AMM 73-22-00-860-010 .

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF

(2) On the maintenance panel 50VU, push the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1 pushbutton switch.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits

(4) Make sure that the thrust reverser halves 451AL and 452AR are closed Ref.
AMM 71-13-00-410-010 .
