A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the thrust reverser system with the CFDS (through the FADEC 2A and 2B
menus) Ref. AMM 78-31-00-710-041 .
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 78-30-00-810-147-A
A. If the test gives the maintenance message TUBES/LKACTS/NLKACTS2:
· examine the harness from the EEC (4000KS) to the thrust reverser HCU (4101KS)
· examine the harness from the EEC (4000KS) to the non-locking actuators (4003KS) and (4004KS)
· examine the harness from the EEC (4000KS) to the locking actuators, (4006KS) and (4007KS) Ref.
ASM 73-25-16 Ref. AMM 71-50-00-210-010 .
(1) If the fault continues:
· disconnect the connectors from:
. the thrust reverser HCU (4101KS)
. the non-locking actuators (4003KS) and (4004KS)
. the locking actuators (4006KS) and (4007KS).
· examine the connectors and receptacles Ref. AMM 71-50-00-210-010
· connect the connectors to :
. the thrust reverser HCU (4101KS)
. the non-locking actuators (4003KS) and (4004KS)
. the locking actuators (4006KS) and (4007KS) Ref. AMM 70-23-15-912-010 .
(2) If the fault continues:
· replace the HCU-THRUST REV (4101KS) Ref. AMM 78-31-51-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 78-31-51-400-010 .
(3) If the fault continues:
· replace the LVDT-THRUST REV UPPER R ACTUATOR ( 4003KS ) and the LVDTTHRUST
REV UPPER L ACTUATOR ( 4004KS ) Ref. AMM 78-32-48-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 78-32-48-400-010 .
(4) If the fault continues:
· replace the LOCK IND/PROX SENSOR-THRUST REV LOWER R ACTUATOR ( 4006KS )
and the LOCK IND/PROX SENSOR-THRUST REV LOWER L ACTUATOR ( 4007KS ) Ref.
AMM 78-32-43-000-010 and Ref. AMM 78-32-43-400-010 .
(5) If the fault continues:
· replace the EEC ( 4000KS ) Ref. AMM 73-22-34-000-010 and Ref. AMM 73-22-34-400-010 .

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF

(2) On the panel 50VU, push the ENG/FADEC GND PWR2 pushbutton switch.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits Ref. AMM 24-41-00-862-002 .
(4) Make sure that the thrust reverser halves 461AL and 462AR are closed Ref.
AMM 78-32-00-410-010 .
