A. Test
(1) Do the vibration survey test Ref. AMM 71-00-00-700-022 .
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 77-32-00-810-056-A
A. If the engine 2 vibration indication at N1 level is green during the vibration survey test:
· continue to monitor the engine 2.
Subtask 77-32-00-810-060-A
B. If the engine 2 vibration indication at N1 level flashes during the vibration survey test:
· do a check of the magnetic chip detectors for debris Ref. AMM 79-00-00-200-011 .
(1) If the fault continues:
· do a visual check of the inlet cone Ref. AMM 72-38-11-200-010 and the fan blades Ref.
AMM 72-31-11-200-010 .
(2) If the fault continues:
· do a visual check of the turbine exhaust case Ref. AMM 78-10-00-200-012 and the common nose
assembly Ref. AMM 78-11-11-200-010 .
(3) If the fault continues:
· replace the TRANSDUCER-VIBRATION ( 4004EV1 ) , Ref. AMM 77-32-15-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 77-32-15-400-010 .
(4) If the fault continues:
· replace the CABLE ASSY-VIBRATION TRANSDUCER 1 ( 4004EV2 ) and the CABLE
ASSY-VIBRATION TRANSDUCER 2 ( 4004EV3 ) , Ref. AMM 77-32-43-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 77-32-43-400-010 .
(5) If the fault continues:
· do the borescope inspection of the LP compressor Ref. AMM 72-00-00-200-017 and the LP
turbine Ref. AMM 72-00-00-200-012 .
(6) If the fault continues:
· do a trim balance for the LP compressor (fan) rotor Ref. AMM 71-00-00-700-012 .
