3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 77-00-00-710-290-A
A. Job Set-up
(1) Do a check of the DMC 1/2/3 exceedance reports for N1 and/or N2 limit exceedance Ref.
AMM 77-00-00-710-041 .
(2) Do a check of the POST FLIGHT REPORT for ECAM warning and related maintenance messages.
(3) If the POST FLIGHT REPORT is not available:
(a) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
Ref. AMM 24-41-00-861-002 .
(b) On the maintenance panel 50VU, release the ENG FADEC GND PWR 1 and 2 pushbutton
switches.
(c) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to
ON Ref. AMM 31-60-00-860-001 .
(d) Read the LAST LEG REPORT of the FADEC 2A menu and the LAST LEG REPORT of the
FADEC 2B menu on the MCDU (Ref. TSM 70-00-00-03) and make a record of the maintenance
message and fault codes.
4. Fault Isolation

A. If N1 is more than the limit and the ECAM warning ENG 2 N1 OVERLIMIT is set, do

B. If N2 is more than the limit and the ECAM warning ENG 2 N2 OVERLIMIT is set, do
(Ref. TSM 77-00-00-810-816) .
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF
