B. If the fault symptom is identified by the upper ECAM warning ENG2 FADEC FAULT and the test of the FADEC 2A and 2B gives no maintenance message:
(d) Check the wiring 573 on the pin 4B at 1KS2:
Subtask 77-00-00-710-188-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - disconnect the connectors J1 and J2 from the ECU (4000KS) and do a check for 28VDC at pins J1 and J2 /13 with the FADEC GND PWR pushbutton switch released (the ON legend is on).
- replace the ECU [4000KS] AMM 73-21-60-000-001 and AMM 73-21-60-400-001.
- do a check for 28VDC at EIU 2 (1KS2) pins AC/9, 11 ASM 732505.
- do a check for open or short to ground at the harnesses J1 and J2 between the EIU 2 (1KS2) and the ECU (4000KS), pin AC/7 to pin J1/13 and pin AC/2 to pin J2/13. Replace the harness J1 or J2 if necessary.
- make sure that there is no ground signal at EIU 2 (1KS2) pin AA/5B ASM 732508.
- replace the EIU-2 [1KS2] AMM 73-25-34-000-040 and AMM 73-25-34-400-040.
- do a check for open or short to ground at the aircraft wirings between the circuit breakers (2KS2), (4KS2) and EIU 2 (1KS2) pin AC/9, 11.
- repair the defective wiring(s).
- replace the defective C/B-ENGINE/2/FADEC A/AND EIU 2 [2KS2] or the C/B-ENGINE/ENG2/FADEC B/AND EIU 2 [4KS2] .
(d) Check the wiring 573 on the pin 4B at 1KS2:
- Repair the above wiring.
