Not applicable.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 77-00-00-810-128-A
A. If the fault symptom is identified by the crew observation: ENG1 - Changes in all parameter values:
(1) Read the LAST LEG REPORT (Ref. 70-00-00 Page Block 301 Task Supporting Data) and
the scheduled maintenance report of the FADEC (1A and 1B) menu on the MCDU Ref.
AMM 31-32-00-860-012 .
(a) If you find messages related to:
1 EPR measurement (P2, P4.9 (P5))
2 Speed indication (N1, N2)
3 Fuel and control system (FMU, EEC)
4 VSV system
5 Handling bleed system (2.5 Bleed, HBV Stages 7 and 10), or customer bleed system (PRV,
HPV)
(b) Do the applicable troubleshooting procedures in accordance with TSM for maintenance
message(s) recorded.
(c) If you do not find messages, as stated above, continue with step 1_ below:
1 Do an operational test of the P2/T2 Probe Heater Ref. AMM 73-22-11-710-040 .
2 Examine the SENSOR-P2/T2 ( 4014KS ) for signs of damage, contamination and/or broken
parts.
3 Check the P2/T2 Air Tubes Ref. AMM 73-22-48-200-010 .
4 Examine the P4.9 (P5) Sensor and Manifold (2004EM1, 2004EM2, 2004EM3) and P4.9
(P5) Pressure Rake Tube for signs of damage, contamination and/or broken parts.
5 Check the P4.9 (P5) Pressure Tube for leaks, damage and water contamination Ref.
AMM 73-22-51-700-801 .
(d) If the fault continues:
· Replace the FMU ( 4000KC ) Ref. AMM 73-22-52-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 73-22-52-400-010 .
(e) If the fault continues:
· Replace the EEC ( 4000KS ) Ref. AMM 73-22-34-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 73-22-34-400-010 .
(f) If the fault continues:
· Do a functional test of the Stage 7 and Stage 10 HPC Bleed Valves Ref.
