3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 75-23-00-860-062-A
A. Job Set-up
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
Ref. AMM 24-41-00-861-002 .
(2) On the panel 50VU, release the ENG FADEC GND PWR 1 pushbutton switch.
Subtask 75-23-00-710-104-A
B. Test
(1) On the panel 50VU, push the ENG FADEC GND PWR 1 pushbutton switch and release it again.
NOTE: This action resets the FADEC memory.
(2) On the MCDU, push the INIT mode key. The INIT page comes into view.
(3) Enter a new flight number.
(4) Start the engine 1 by the normal engine automatic start procedure Ref. AMM 71-00-00-710-043 or
the normal engine manual start procedure Ref. AMM 71-00-00-710-047 .
(5) Do a shutdown of the engine 1 by the discontinued start, restart and shutdown procedure Ref.
AMM 71-00-00-710-018 .
(6) Read the LAST LEG REPORT of the FADEC (1A and 1B) menu on the MCDU (Ref. 70-00-00 Page
Block 301 Task Supporting Data) and make a record of the maintenance message.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 75-23-00-810-078-A
A. If the test does not give the maintenance message TCA VLV/SOL/EEC 1 : no further action is necessary,
or if the test gives another maintenance message do the trouble shooting procedure related to the
maintenance message.

B. If the test gives the maintenance message TCA VLV/SOL/EEC 1
(1) Do a check to see if one or more of the maintenance messages that follow are shown :
· TCA VLV SOL/HC/EEC 1
· TCA VLV/HC/EEC 1
(a) You must correct these faults must corrected before you continue :
· do the related fault isolation procedures (Ref. TSM 75-23-00-810-801) and/or
(Ref. TSM 75-23-00-810-813) .
(2) If TCA VLV/SOL/EEC 1 is the only message shown :
· replace the VALVE-STAGE 10 TO HPT AIR ( 4025KS ) , Ref. AMM 75-23-51-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 75-23-51-400-010 .
(a) If the fault continues:
· replace the SOL VALVE-STAGE 10 AIR ( 4028KS ) , Ref. AMM 75-23-52-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 75-23-52-400-010 .
(b) If the fault continues:
· replace the EEC ( 4000KS ) , Ref. AMM 73-22-34-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 73-22-34-400-010 .

5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.

(2) On the panel 50VU, push the ENG FADEC GND PWR 1 pushbutton switch.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
