A. Do the operational test of the ignition system, by performing an aural check of the igniter plug operation AMM 74-00-00-710-040.
Subtask 74-00-00-710-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The igniter test will spark the right igniter plug (A) for 10 seconds, wait 2 seconds then spark the left igniter plug (B) for 10 seconds. This test provides for an aural feedback of proper ignition operation . No CFDS test results are available.
A. Do the operational test of the ignition system, by performing an aural check of the igniter plug operation AMM 74-00-00-710-043.
4. Fault IsolationNOTE: The igniter test will spark the right igniter plug (A) for 10 seconds, wait 2 seconds then spark the left igniter plug (B) for 10 seconds. This test provides for an aural feedback of proper ignition operation . No CFDS test results are available.

A. The failure message IGN1, ECU is generated if there is no light off detected 10 seconds after the fuel is turned on.
(1) If an audible spark cannot be heard on the right igniter plug (A):

- replace the SPARK-IGNITER, A [4001JH1] AMM 74-21-30-000-001 and AMM 74-21-30-400-001.
- replace the right ignition lead AMM 74-21-10-000-001 and AMM 74-21-10-400-001.
- replace the upper exciter box AMM 74-11-10-000-001 and AMM 74-11-10-400-001.
- replace the ECU [4000KS] AMM 73-21-60-000-001 and AMM 73-21-60-400-001.
- replace the EIU-2 (1KS2) AMM 73-25-34-000-040 and AMM 73-25-34-400-040.
- replace the right ignition lead AMM 74-21-10-000-001 and AMM 74-21-10-400-001.
- do the following steps after trouble shooting per steps Para. 4.A.(2). has been fully done,
- replace the igniter A (right igniter plug) AMM 74-21-30-000-001 and AMM 74-21-30-400-001.
- replace the upper exciter box AMM 74-11-10-000-001 and AMM 74-11-10-400-001.
- replace the J1 harness AMM 71-51-44-000-004 and AMM 71-51-44-400-004 for channel A.
- replace the J2 harness AMM 71-51-44-000-005 and AMM 71-51-44-400-005 for channel B.
- replace the ECU (4000KS) AMM 73-21-60-000-001 and AMM 73-21-60-400-001.
- replace the EIU-2 [1KS2] AMM 73-25-34-000-040 and AMM 73-25-34-400-040.

- replace the upper exciter box AMM 74-11-10-000-002 and AMM 74-11-10-400-002.
- replace the HJ1 harness AMM 71-51-43-000-046 and AMM 71-51-43-400-046 for channel A.
- replace the HJ2 harness AMM 71-51-43-000-047 and AMM 71-51-43-400-047 for channel B.
- replace the ECU (4000KS) AMM 73-21-60-000-001 and AMM 73-21-60-400-001.
- replace the EIU-2 [1KS2] AMM 73-25-34-000-040 and AMM 73-25-34-400-040.
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
(1) No additional maintenance action is required if the fault is not confirmed.
