A. Do the operational test of the Engine Interface Unit (EIU) with the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS) to confirm this fault AMM 73-25-34-710-802.
4. Fault IsolationSubtask 73-25-00-810-398-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If there is confirmation of the fault:
(1) Remove all components connected to EIU-1 (1KS1) Discrete Output (DSO) 11.
(a) Remove the Avionics Equipment Ventilation Computer (AEVC) (10HQ) AMM 21-26-34-000-001.
(b) Remove both Cabin Pressure Controllers (CPC) (11HL and 12HL) AMM 21-31-34-000-001.
(c) Remove the air-conditioning system 1 controller (47HH) AMM 21-61-34-000-002.
(2) On the MCDU, simulate the DSO 11:
(a) Push the adjacent button to DSO 11 to have the status equal to 1 AMM 73-25-34-860-803.
(b) At all controllers rack connectors (AB), do a check for ground at contacts:
1 10A for AEVC (10HQ)
2 7D for CPC 1 (11HL)
3 7D for CPC 2 (12HL)
4 3C for air-conditioning system 1 controller (47HH).
(c) Stop the simulation of DSO 10 AMM 73-25-34-860-803.
(3) If there is no ground, do a check of wiring for continuity (less than 5 ohms resistance) and short to ground:
(a) If there is no ground at all contacts, do a check of wiring between EIU-1 (1KS1) rack contact 1G and 1853VT on SHELF 85VU AWM 732505.
(b) If there is no ground at contact of AEVC controller (10HQ) rack, do a check of wiring between contact 10A of controller (10HQ) rack and 1853VT AWM 212608.
(c) If there is no ground at contacts of CPC (11HL and/or 12HL) rack, do a check of wiring between contact 7D and 1853VT AWM 213108.
(d) If there is no ground at contacts of air-conditioning system 1 controller (47HH) rack, do a check of wiring between contact 3C and 1853VT AWM 216105.
(e) If you find damage, repair or replace aircraft wiring AWM 752505, AWM 212608, AWM 213108 and AWM 216105.
(f) If you find no damage:
1 Replace EIU-1 [1KS1] AMM 73-25-34-000-802 and AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
(4) If there is ground at all contacts (Refer to step 4.A.(2)(b)):
(a) Replace AEVC [10HQ] AMM 21-26-34-000-001 and AMM 21-26-34-400-001.
(c) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(5) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace PRESS CONT 1 [11HL] AMM 21-31-34-000-001 and AMM 21-31-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(6) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace PRESS CONT 2 [12HL] AMM 21-31-34-000-001 and AMM 21-31-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(7) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace CONT-AIR COND SYSTEM 1 [47HH] AMM 21-61-34-000-002 and AMM 21-61-34-400-002.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
5. Close-up(1) Remove all components connected to EIU-1 (1KS1) Discrete Output (DSO) 11.
(a) Remove the Avionics Equipment Ventilation Computer (AEVC) (10HQ) AMM 21-26-34-000-001.
(b) Remove both Cabin Pressure Controllers (CPC) (11HL and 12HL) AMM 21-31-34-000-001.
(c) Remove the air-conditioning system 1 controller (47HH) AMM 21-61-34-000-002.
(2) On the MCDU, simulate the DSO 11:
(a) Push the adjacent button to DSO 11 to have the status equal to 1 AMM 73-25-34-860-803.
(b) At all controllers rack connectors (AB), do a check for ground at contacts:
1 10A for AEVC (10HQ)
2 7D for CPC 1 (11HL)
3 7D for CPC 2 (12HL)
4 3C for air-conditioning system 1 controller (47HH).
(c) Stop the simulation of DSO 10 AMM 73-25-34-860-803.
(3) If there is no ground, do a check of wiring for continuity (less than 5 ohms resistance) and short to ground:
(a) If there is no ground at all contacts, do a check of wiring between EIU-1 (1KS1) rack contact 1G and 1853VT on SHELF 85VU AWM 732505.
(b) If there is no ground at contact of AEVC controller (10HQ) rack, do a check of wiring between contact 10A of controller (10HQ) rack and 1853VT AWM 212608.
(c) If there is no ground at contacts of CPC (11HL and/or 12HL) rack, do a check of wiring between contact 7D and 1853VT AWM 213108.
(d) If there is no ground at contacts of air-conditioning system 1 controller (47HH) rack, do a check of wiring between contact 3C and 1853VT AWM 216105.
(e) If you find damage, repair or replace aircraft wiring AWM 752505, AWM 212608, AWM 213108 and AWM 216105.
(f) If you find no damage:
1 Replace EIU-1 [1KS1] AMM 73-25-34-000-802 and AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
(4) If there is ground at all contacts (Refer to step 4.A.(2)(b)):
(a) Replace AEVC [10HQ] AMM 21-26-34-000-001 and AMM 21-26-34-400-001.
NOTE: Replacement of the controller (10HQ) firstly then other controllers secondly can be reversed.
(b) Install all other controllers (11HL, 12HL and 47HH) AMM 21-31-34-400-001 and AMM 21-61-34-400-002. (c) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(5) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace PRESS CONT 1 [11HL] AMM 21-31-34-000-001 and AMM 21-31-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(6) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace PRESS CONT 2 [12HL] AMM 21-31-34-000-001 and AMM 21-31-34-400-001.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(7) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace CONT-AIR COND SYSTEM 1 [47HH] AMM 21-61-34-000-002 and AMM 21-61-34-400-002.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
