A. Do the operational test of the Engine Interface Unit (EIU) with the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS) to confirm this fault AMM 73-25-34-710-802.
4. Fault IsolationSubtask 73-25-00-810-397-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If there is confirmation of the fault:
(1) Remove both air-conditioning system controllers (47HH and 57HH) AMM 21-61-34-000-002.
(2) On the MCDU, simulate the Discrete Output (DSO) 10:
(a) Push the adjacent button to DSO 10 to have the status equal to 1 AMM 73-25-34-860-803.
(b) Use a MULTIMETER - STANDARD to at both controllers rack connectors (AB), do a check for ground at contact 2A AWM 215103.
1 Stop the simulation of DSO 10 AMM 73-25-34-860-803.
(3) If there is no ground, do a check of wiring for continuity (less than 5 ohms resistance) and short to ground AWM 215103:
(a) If there is no ground at both contacts 2A, do a check of wiring between EIU-2 (1KS2) rack contact 2F and (209VT) on SHELF 95VU.
(b) If there is no ground at contact 2A of controller (47HH) rack, do a check of wiring between contact 2A of controller (47HH) rack and (209VT).
(c) If there is no ground at contact 2A of controller (57HH) rack, do a check of wiring between contact 2A and (209VT).
(d) If you find damage, repair or replace wiring AWM 215103.
(e) If you find no damage:
1 Replace EIU-2 [1KS2] AMM 73-25-34-000-802 and AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
(4) If there is ground at contacts 2A:
(a) Replace CONT-AIR COND SYSTEM 1 [47HH] AMM 21-61-34-400-002.
2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
(5) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace CONT-AIR COND SYSTEM 2 [57HH] AMM 21-61-34-000-002 AMM 21-61-34-400-002.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
5. Close-up(1) Remove both air-conditioning system controllers (47HH and 57HH) AMM 21-61-34-000-002.

NOTE: Replacement of the controller (47HH) firstly then controller (57HH) secondly can be reversed.
1 Install the controller (57HH) AMM 21-61-34-400-002. 2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
(5) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace CONT-AIR COND SYSTEM 2 [57HH] AMM 21-61-34-000-002 AMM 21-61-34-400-002.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
Subtask 73-25-00-860-149-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
