A. Do the operational test of the Engine Interface Unit (EIU) with the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS) to confirm this fault AMM 73-25-34-710-802.
4. Fault IsolationSubtask 73-25-00-810-394-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If there is confirmation of the fault:
(1) On RELAY BOX 103VU:
(a) Replace RELAY-OIL LOW PRESS AND GROUND, ENG 1 [10KS1] and RELAY-OIL LOW PRESS AND GROUND, ENG 1 [12KS1] AWM 732505.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(2) If the fault continues, remove both relays (10KS1) and (12KS1).
(3) On the MCDU, simulate Discrete Output (DSO) 6:
(a) Push the adjacent button to DSO 6 to have the status equal to 1 AMM 73-25-34-860-803.
(b) Use a MULTIMETER - STANDARD to at both relays (10KS1) and (12KS1) sockets, do a check for 28 VDC at contacts X:
1 Stop simulation of DSO 9 AMM 73-25-34-860-803.
(4) If there is no 28 VDC, do a check of wiring for continuity (less than 5 ohms resistance) and short to ground AWM 732505.
(a) If there is no 28 VDC at both contacts, do a check of wiring between EIU-1 (1KS1) rack contact 10B and (1154VT).
(b) If there is no 28 VDC at contact X of (12KS1), do a check of wiring between (12KS1) socket and (1154VT).
(c) If there is no 28 VDC at contact X of (10KS1), do a check of wiring between (10KS1) socket and (1154VT).
(5) If you find damage, repair or replace wiring AWM 732505.
(6) If you find no damage:
(a) Replace EIU-1 [1KS1] AMM 73-25-34-000-802 and AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
(7) Install both relays (10KS1) and (12KS1).
(a) Do the test given in Para. 3.
5. Close-up(1) On RELAY BOX 103VU:
(a) Replace RELAY-OIL LOW PRESS AND GROUND, ENG 1 [10KS1] and RELAY-OIL LOW PRESS AND GROUND, ENG 1 [12KS1] AWM 732505.
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.
