A. Do the test as follows:
(1) Make sure the ENG/MASTER control switch (2KC) is in the OFF position.
(2) Do the operational test of the Engine Interface Unit (EIU) with the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS) to confirm this fault AMM 73-25-34-710-802.
(3) If the fault is confirmed go to the Para. 4.
(4) If the fault is not confirmed, put the ENG/MASTER control switch (2KC) in the ON position.
(5) Do again the operational test of the EIU with the CFDS to confirm this fault AMM 73-25-34-710-802.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Make sure the ENG/MASTER control switch (2KC) is in the OFF position.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS ARE OPEN BEFORE YOU DO MAINTENANCE WORK ON THIS SYSTEM WIRING. THE VOLTAGE ON THIS SYSTEM IS DANGEROUSLY HIGH AND CAN CAUSE SEVERE INJURY.
Subtask 73-25-00-810-325-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. If there is confirmation of the fault:
(1) Replace EIU-2 [1KS2] AMM 73-25-34-000-802 and AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
(2) Do the test given in Para. 3. with the ENG/MASTER Control Switch (2KC) in the position that confirmed the fault.
(3) If the fault continues:
(a) Troubleshoot as follows:
(4) Check on report for any failure of BUS bars (204XP) and (401XP).
(a) Troubleshoot as necessary (Ref. TSM Chap. 24).
(b) Do the test given in the Para. 3. with the ENG/MASTER control switch (2KC) in the position that confirmed the fault.
(c) If no fault regarding the BUS bar is reported or if fault continues, go to the Para. 4.C.
Subtask 73-25-00-865-096-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Replace EIU-2 [1KS2] AMM 73-25-34-000-802 and AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):
