1. Possible Causes
- EIU-2 [1KS2]
aircraft wiring between connector (443VC2) and EIU-2 - FAN COWL LATCH PROXIMITY SENSOR HARNESS [4145KS]

A. Do the operational test of the Engine Interface Unit (EIU) with the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS) to confirm this fault AMM 73-25-34-710-802.
4. Fault IsolationSubtask 73-25-00-810-265-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Check for EIU fault
(1) Replace EIU-2 [1KS2] AMM 73-25-34-000-802 and AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
(2) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(3) If the fault continues:
(a) Go to the Para. 4.B.
Subtask 73-25-00-865-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Replace EIU-2 [1KS2] AMM 73-25-34-000-802 and AMM 73-25-34-400-802.
(2) Do the test given in Para. 3.
(3) If the fault continues:
(a) Go to the Para. 4.B.
B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Check for harness fault
(1) Disconnect connector (443VC2-A).
(2) Check for 28 VDC to pins 21, 24 and 23 AWM 715177.
(a) If there is 28 VDC at any pin, repairaircraft wiring between connector (443VC2) and EIU-2 , refer to AWM 783610.
(b) If there is no 28 VDC at any pin:
1 Replace FAN COWL LATCH PROXIMITY SENSOR HARNESS [4145KS] AMM 71-13-61-000-802 and AMM 71-13-61-400-802.
2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
(1) Disconnect connector (443VC2-A).
(2) Check for 28 VDC to pins 21, 24 and 23 AWM 715177.
(a) If there is 28 VDC at any pin, repair
(b) If there is no 28 VDC at any pin:
1 Replace FAN COWL LATCH PROXIMITY SENSOR HARNESS [4145KS] AMM 71-13-61-000-802 and AMM 71-13-61-400-802.
2 Do the test given in Para. 3.
