3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 73-20-00-710-340-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. test
  • Check if the "Fault" light located in Engine Control Unit Panel (115VU) is illuminated:
   (1) If amber fault light is not illuminated, the failure is not confirmed
  • No further action is required
   (2) If amber fault light is illuminated, the failure is confirmed:
  • Do the step 4. Fault Isolation
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 73-20-00-810-287-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If amber fault light is illuminated:
  • On the overhead panel (50VU), push FADEC GND PWR 1 pushbotton switch
  • Check if the "Fault" light located in Engine Control Unit Panel (115VU) is illuminated:
   (1) If amber fault light is illuminated:
  • Pull 24KS1 C/B
  • Check if the "Fault" light located in Engine Control Unit Panel (115VU) is illuminated:
     (a) If amber fault light is not illuminated:
  • Replace Relay (29KS1).
       1 If the fault continues:
  • Replace Relay (30KS1).
     (b) If amber fault light is illuminated:
  • Pull 2KS1 C/B
  • Pull 4KS1 C/B
  • Check if the "Fault" light located in Engine Control Unit Panel (115VU) is illuminated:
       1 If amber fault light is not illuminated, the failure is not confirmed
       2 If amber fault light is illuminated, the failure is confirmed:
         a If the fault continues:
  • repair the wiring between 8LP board and 5KS ASM 732509;
