A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the FADEC 1A on the ground (with engine non motoring) AMM 73-29-00-710-040.
(2) Read the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA of the FADEC MENU on the MCDU (Ref. 70-00-00, P. Block 301).

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 73-20-00-810-139-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the test gives the maintenance message ECU and the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA gives the complementary information ECU ARINC 1 OUTPUT:

do a check for open or short to ground of the wiring and connectors between the ECU (4000KS) and the test receptacle of the aircraft computers:
. EIU1 (1KS1) - DMC1 (1WT1)
. DMC2 (1WT2) - DMC3 (1WT3)
. FMGC1 (1CA1) - FWC1 (1WW1)
. FWC2 (1WW2) - DMU (1TV)

(1) If there is a short to ground:

repair the defective wiring .

(2) If there is no short to ground:

replace the ECU [4000KS] AMM 73-21-60-000-001 and AMM 73-21-60-400-001.
