A. Do the operational test of the FADEC 1A on the ground (with engine non motoring) AMM 73-29-00-710-040.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 73-20-00-810-117-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. This failure message is generated if the PS3 line is leaking, blocked or an internal ECU processing error has occurred.
   (1) If the failure message PS3 SENS LINE, ECU is not confirmed:
     (a) Inspect PS3 line:
  • do a visual check of the PS3 line for dents, cracks, wear and weep holes free from obstruction AMM 72-00-00-200-029 and to make sure connections are properly tightened and in place AMM 72-00-00-220-001.
       1 If damage is found:
       2 If no damage is found:
  • no maintenance action is required.
   (2) If the failure message PS3 SENS LINE, ECU is not confirmed, but is repetitive:
     (a) Replace the ECU [4000KS] AMM 73-21-60-000-001 and AMM 73-21-60-400-001.
     (b) If the fault continues:
  • inspect PS3 line .
       1 Do a visual check of the PS3 line for dents, cracks, wear and weep holes free from obstruction AMM 72-00-00-200-029 and to make sure connections are properly tightened and in place AMM 72-00-00-220-001.
   (3) If the failure message PS3 SENS LINE, ECU is confirmed:

A. This failure message is generated if the PS3 line is leaking, blocked or an internal ECU processing error has occurred.
   (1) If the failure message ECU, PS3 SNSR LINE is not confirmed:
     (a) Inspect PS3 line:
  • do a visual check of the PS3 line for dents, cracks, wear and weep holes free from obstruction AMM 72-00-00-200-029 and to make sure connections are properly tightened and in place AMM 72-00-00-220-001.
       1 If damage is found:
       2 If no damage is found:
  • no maintenance action is required.
   (2) If the failure message ECU, PS3 SNSR LINE is not confirmed, but is repetitive:
     (a) Replace the ECU [4000KS] AMM 73-21-60-000-001 and AMM 73-21-60-400-001.
     (b) If the fault continues:
  • inspect PS3 line .

   (3) If the failure message ECU, PS3 SNSR LINE is confirmed:

A. This failure message is generated if the PS3 line is leaking, blocked or an internal ECU processing error has occurred.
   (1) If the failure message ECU, PS3 SNSR LINE is not confirmed:
     (a) Inspect PS3 line:
  • do a visual check of the PS3 line for dents, cracks, wear and weep holes free from obstruction AMM 72-00-00-200-026 and to make sure connections are properly tightened and in place AMM 72-00-00-200-026.
       1 If damage is found:
       2 If no damage is found:
  • no maintenance action is required.
   (2) If the failure message ECU, PS3 SNSR LINE is not confirmed, but is repetitive:
     (a) Replace the ECU [4000KS] AMM 73-21-60-000-001 and AMM 73-21-60-400-001.
     (b) If the fault continues:
  • inspect PS3 line .
       1 Do a visual check of the PS3 line for dents, cracks, wear and weep holes free from obstruction AMM 72-00-00-200-026 and to make sure connections are properly tightened and in place AMM 72-00-00-200-026.
   (3) If the failure message ECU, PS3 SNSR LINE is confirmed:
Subtask 73-20-00-710-302-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
   (1) No additional maintenance action is required if the fault is not confirmed.
   (2) Repeat the fault isolation procedure if the fault continues.
