3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 73-20-00-710-100-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do the operational test of the FADEC 1A on the ground (with engine non motoring) AMM 73-29-00-710-040.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 73-20-00-810-090-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the test gives the maintenance message J14, ECU:
  • reset the ECU 1 (4000KS) as follows:
   (1) On the panel 115VU, set the MASTER 1 switch from OFF to ON then back to OFF.
   (2) After 30 seconds do again one time the procedure given in step (1) above.
   (3) If the fault continues:
  • do a check of the wiring and the connector J14 at the ECU 1 (4000KS).
     (a) If there is no continuity:
  • repair the above wiring.
     (b) If there is continuity:

A. If the test gives the maintenance message J14, ECU (ENG IDENT):
  • reset the ECU 1 (4000KS) as follows:
   (1) On the panel 115VU, set the MASTER 1 switch from OFF to ON then back to OFF.
   (2) After 30 seconds do again one time the procedure given in step (1) above.
   (3) If the fault continues:
  • do a check of the wiring and the connector J14 at the ECU 1 (4000KS).
     (a) If there is no continuity:
  • repair the above wiring.
     (b) If there is continuity:

B. Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
