A. If the fault symptom is identified by the crew observation: Engine 1 idle speeds high/low:
· Disconnect the connector from the fuel temperature sensor
· Examine the connector and receptacle Ref. AMM 71-50-00-210-010
· Connect the connector to the fuel temperature sensor Ref. AMM 70-23-15-912-010 .
(1) If the fault continues:
· Replace the SENSOR-FUEL TEMPERATURE ( 4017KS ) Ref. AMM 73-35-15-000-010 and Ref.
AMM 73-35-15-400-010 .
(2) If the fault continues:
· Do a check and repair the wiring from the EIU1 (1KS1) and the first terminal block pins AA/3J, 3K.
(3) If the fault continues:
· Do a check of the LGCIU Ref. AMM 32-69-00-740-001 and repair as necessary
(4) If the fault continues:
· Replace the FCOC ( 6003EM ) Ref. AMM 79-21-43-000-010 and Ref. AMM 79-21-43-400-010 .
(5) If the fault continues:
· Replace the VALVE-FUEL DIVERTER AND RETURN ( 4018KS ) Ref. AMM 73-13-42-000-010
and Ref. AMM 73-13-42-400-010 .
(6) If the fault continues:
