4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 73-00-00-810-116-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If the fault symptom is identified by the crew observation: slow acceleration to idle after light off:
   (1) Do a check of the engine inlet and exhaust areas for damage.
   (2) In case of acceleration problem from idle, do an acceleration check to confirm the fault AMM 71-00-00-710-010.
   (3) Do a check for aircraft bleed system malfunction (pack valve/engine air intake anti-ice/wing anti-ice/bleed leakage).
   (4) Do a check of the PS3 line to make sure that there is no blockage or leakage.
   (5) Do an operational test of the FADEC on the ground (with engine motoring) to do a check of the VSV/VBV position AMM 73-29-00-710-040.
   (6) Do a visual inspection of the VBV system AMM 75-31-00-210-001.
   (7) Troubleshoot as per (Ref. TSM TASK 36-11-00-810-829) and (Ref. TSM TASK 36-11-00-810-830) to check 10HA1, 10HA2 and 4001HA1, 4001HA2.
   (8) Replace the fuel pump AMM 73-11-10-000-001 and AMM 73-11-10-400-001.
   (9) Do a check of the LP fuel valve for malfunction AMM 28-24-00-710-002 and AMM 28-24-00-720-001.
   (10) Replace the HMU-1 [4000KC1] ( HMU-2 [4000KC2] ) AMM 73-21-10-000-001 and AMM 73-21-10-400-001.
   (11) Do a borescope inspection of the fan and booster assembly AMM 72-21-00-210-001 and AMM 72-21-00-290-002.
   (12) Do a borescope inspection of the high pressure compressor rotor assembly AMM 72-31-00-290-001.
   (13) Do a borescope inspection of the combustion chambers AMM 72-41-00-290-001.
   (14) Do a borescope inspection of the high-pressure turbine-nozzle assembly AMM 72-51-00-290-002.
   (15) Do a borescope inspection of the low pressure turbine AMM 72-54-00-290-001 and AMM 72-54-00-290-002 and AMM 72-54-00-290-003 and AMM 72-54-00-290-004 and AMM 72-54-00-210-002.

A. If the fault symptom is identified by the crew observation: slow acceleration to idle after light off:

   (9) Do a check of the LP fuel valve for malfunction AMM 28-24-00-710-002 and AMM 28-24-00-720-001.
   (10) Replace the HMU-1 [4000KC1] ( HMU-2 [4000KC2] ) AMM 73-21-10-000-002 and AMM 73-21-10-400-002.
   (11) Do a borescope inspection of the fan and booster assembly AMM 72-21-00-210-006 and AMM 72-21-00-290-003.
   (12) Do a borescope inspection of the high pressure compressor rotor assembly AMM 72-31-00-290-002.
   (13) Do a borescope inspection of the combustion chambers AMM 72-41-00-290-001.
   (14) Do a borescope inspection of the high-pressure turbine-nozzle assembly AMM 72-51-00-290-004.
   (15) Do a borescope inspection of the low pressure turbine AMM 72-54-00-290-005 and AMM 72-54-00-290-006 and AMM 72-54-00-290-007 and AMM 72-54-00-290-008 and AMM 72-54-00-210-005.
